PassTheStarAct.org is an advocacy campaign. We can’t give counseling, legal, or benefits advice, but these organizations can, and most of their help is free.

If you or a veteran you know is in crisis

The Veterans Crisis Line offers free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for veterans and their loved ones. You don’t have to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to use it.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.

Free help with your benefits and CRSC

Accredited service officers help veterans with VA claims and Combat-Related Special Compensation (CRSC) at no cost. If you haven’t applied for CRSC, it can help you today, regardless of the bill. Your service’s CRSC office decides whether a disability is combat-related.
